Very good place

Delicious food.. always eat there..

I ate here yesterday with my wife and two daughters. I had a Posole with Fry Bread and Red Chile on the side. It was cold and snowy out, and I applaud myself for the perfect order. However the real applause goes to the cook, it was possibly the best Posole I have ever had. My wife ordered a Navajo Taco and it was huge and very filling. The service was great, and I am happy to add this place to my top favorites list of great New Mexico restaurants.

Roast beef dinner with fries and mixed vegetables! Filling and tasty.

Great Native foods and salad bar. Great cafe food. Highly recommend for a sit down meal.

Was decent. The wait staff didnt pay much attention to our table. The mixed veggies had cabbage. Odd choice. Overall, decent.

Super delicious Navajo Taco's. The food tasted fresh! We were welcomed the minute we walked in. The staff were happy and the food came out quickly! If you get the Navajo Taco's be careful, you get soooooo much food. We could barely finish half of the taco!

This restaurant is GREAT! The Navajo burger and Lamb Stew + fry bread were scrumptious! Too bad we don't live near here as we'd definitely come back here often.

Mexican buffet was bland, chips were old.

My husband brought me here for lunch, we had the lamb stew and fry bread... the lamb stew was omgoodness so DELICIOUS! It was flavorful and the lamb was portioned well in the stew. The fry bread was as big as the plate it came on. truly you get your money's worth here. The service is great, the music they had playing was great and price is definitely great! Beautiful scenery as well.

Well the soup was good it had an exceptional amount of meat. Would try again.Also the frybread which came with the stew was huge!! I would say maybe 10 inches.

Good clean restaurant.Restroom is bit of a walk.

Friendly staff and good enough food. The lunch buffet always features Chinese food and rotates between Mexican, BBQ and Navajo (I think) on other weekdays. Quirky, but you'll get a bellyful.

Fry bread was excellent stew ok

Food is great. You get what you order. Mines less cheese no meat but add more beans. Vegetarian meal.

Excellent, friendly staff great breakfast. The tortilla was the size of a platter. I couldn't wait to get a bite but reassembled the tortilla for the picture.

I've eaten here 3 times. Always enjoyed what I order. Had the buffet once, out was very good and fresh.

Really big portions. Great prices. Attentive staff. I feel like it has the potential to be really good but my Navajo taco was soggy and lacked flavor. The vegetable medley (broccoli, carrots, cabbage, zucchini) was drenched in butter yet was bland as well. My daughter enjoyed her grilled cheese and corn on the cob. My son didn’t like the mashed potatoes. Maybe it was just a bad day for flavor all around?PS... The restrooms are quite far away from the actual restaurant so I wouldn’t wait until your urge is strong.

Restaurant is bright, spacious, and the server was very friendly. We had navajo taco and posole (hominy soup/stew with mutton). The navajo taco was made from fry bread, was enormous and very flavorful. The posole was quite tasty, and I really couldn't tell it was made with mutton - the meat flavor was mild and pleasant. The posole was accompanied with an order of fry bread. Dishes at other tables looked really good also.

I really liked the food here. The atmosphere is plain but the place is clean and the menu is varied.

What can you say, nothing like a Navajo taco in Navajo nation. This place was great, the taco was so big I barely could finish it! Should have just split one with wifey. I love Indian fry bread and I also noticed that they had a Chinese buffet at lunch that was very busy. We always stop here when passing through Shiprock and you should too. I am getting hungry just writing this review.

After spending the day keying in the plants that we collected we went to 3 Rivers for pizza. We had a great time with ladies from three different college's. I had no clue what this bucket list really meant until I was surrounded my all these young and old minds bringing together all their knowledge of what our past, present for future generations to be amazed with what our Mother Earth has given us and it's up to us to protect her from evil forces at work to take away our future.

Huge portions. My chicken fried steak was delicious. The wait staff was so friendly.

Great food! Navajo Tacos are ginormous! Love the mashed potatoes. Honestly anything on the menu is pretty legit for a local restaurant. Navajo Cuisine is the way to go for sure tho! Stews, frybread are always up to par. 👍

Our Airbnb host in Shiprock recommended Nataani Nez as one of the better places in town for dinner. I tried the Navajo Taco and wasn't disappointed but it was so big I had to get a box to go. They have choices other than Native American fare but for a treat go with the Native American choices.
